Definitions of Naughty and Nice.

In our homage to naughty and nice girls everywhere, we decided to strive for a wide range of voices. We wondered what different people from various walks of life would come up with if asked to define a whore and a 'good girl.' The following are the answers we culled; incorporating a diverse range of personalities--across the gamut. We left it up to the source to determine whether or not they'd want to remain anonymous, use their real names or opt for a pseudonym.

1. If you had to define a whore or naughty girl, what would that definition look like?
2. If you had to define a nice girl (Madonna/biblical), what would that definition look like?

Subject #1: 'Dirk Sludge,' or as we like to call him, 'He-who-doesn't-mince-words.'

A whore is a woman who sleeps with everyone else.
A nice girl is a woman who sleeps with me.

Subject #2: 'D' or--the Hater of Christina Aguilera.

Whore = the standard definition of whore has changed, it obviously is used to not only define prostitutes anymore. Rather than people that have sex for money, it's been expanded to include people that just have tons of sex, specifically with multiple partners.

People who are monogamous obviously can't be whores. As far as the dress goes, ya know... really revealing clothing.... clothing inappropriate for the situation... ya know... low-rider pants and a thong sticking out while in church is probably evidence that you're a ho. Christina Aguilera.... I'm pretty confident that everyone thinks she's a ho... she's not sexy, she just looks dirty... that's a whore. Christina Aguilera is the perfect definition of a whore.

Nice Girl = This one is a bit tougher to define... Mostly because a whore is much easier to point out. Someone who respects herself... doesn't flaunt everything at every chance... I think it's all centered around respect... an intelligent girl that respects herself would never flaunt herself around, wouldn't sleep around; that type of thing. In short, she wouldn't participate in whore-like activities. She's the antithesis of Christina Aguilera. Because we all know that Christina Aguilera is a whore.

Subject #3, 'Momsie'

WHORE is a substitute swear word when you make a conscious effort to "not take the Lord's name in vain"... and MADONNA is a sex partner that makes you feel guilty that you're having sex..(don't know what the masculine for Madonna is) ..

Subject #4, Pogo.

Women as in prostitutes, I have no desire to degrade and have mixed thoughts about prostitution as I see it as a failure of society to give women adequate recognition and support. Much of prostitution is a form of white slavery, in Europe--it usually is white slavery and is booming, and people are people underneath. Twice I have been befriended by "whores", and of the two times, one saved my life because I had a severe reaction to medication and got lost on the Gurtel in Vienna-- the woman had mercy on me and took to the address. Apparently I was incoherent and babbling for days.

Not so much into moralism--

So really did not know how to answer question and I've seen too many discarded lives.

And so this is something I have no laughs about. Poverty and exploitation, sexual exploitation of women disturbs me--whether naked sushi or advertising.

And what right have I to call a woman a whore who is struggling for survival, when the haute couture is 10x more sleazy, but reeks in filthy lucre? Ê

Subject #5, Anonymous, or -- From the Psychiatrists' Corner:

Naughty= Someone who participates in sex purely for its physical enjoyment. She enjoys expanding the limits of sex in every conceivable way, from multiple partners to the use of props or toys. While someone who is "naughty" can be in a monogamous relationship and associate emotions with sex, she will still be anxious to push the physical boundaries with that one person and most "naughty" people will have difficulty remaining loyal to the same partner for any significant amount of time. They will dress provocatively and use their sexual sides to their advantage.

Good Girl= She is not capable of disassociating the emotional act of sex with the physical act. Dressing more conservatively because she is either ashamed of her body or against showing it off, she does not discuss sex very openly. She can still enjoy it thoroughly, but she is more interested in participating in the act with a loyal partner with whom she feels comfortable.
